iPhone remote app

I am loving being able to use Remote to control my iTunes but I have one niggly little problem - all the artists that are part of compilation albums are showing in the artists menu in Remote and I would much prefer it if they didn't.

I have it setup so that the compilation artists do not show in the artists column in iTunes - I have all my compilations setup as "part of a compilation = yes" and I have "Various Artists" in the "Album Artist" field - which works for iTunes but not for Remote...

Is it possible to stop compilation artists showing up in the artists menu in remote somehow or is this a limitation of the app?

Please please please pleeeeeeease Apple. Won't you add the option to remove compilation-only artists from the Remote App? My remote app is totally cluttered with one-hit-wonders who only appear on disco compilations and movie soundtracks. Adding this option would make the remote app so much easier to use!

I agree too.

I have a lot of compilations with minor artists and they really clutter my Artist browser. On Remote where the screen is small this is even more important than on iTunes.

I use the album artist field for compilations, set to ‘Various’. Solves the problem for me.
