My Ipad suddenly won't turn on.  What to do?

I tried turning my Ipad on this morning & nothing.  So I decided maybe I needed to charge it.  I have charged it for over 4 hours and it still won't turn on.  Any ideas?

Try this now.

 

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
