Has anyone figured out how to make a checklist in the new notes upgrade

Just tap the New Note icon in the upper right corner of Notes to begin typing. It is the same icon that you see in the mail app that you tap to write an email. Then you will see this icon to create a checklist. Tap that, start typing. When you hit return and go to the next line, you get the circle.

Open Notes, type in your first item, then click on the "+" on the bottom right, and a little menu will display. Click on the "√" to make the list.

TThanks for your response. I get a picture of a camera and the sketch icon but no +.

OK, are you indicating that when you open a new note, and start to type, you do not see a little "+" at the top of the keyboard?

Tap the "+" to display the list option icon:

Tap the list icon to start the list:

Hit the return key to continue the list:

And you can start the list later in the body of the note, by simply typing the note in the normal way. Then when you want to start the list, tap the "+ at that point:

I still don’t see “+” on top of the keyboard. I’m using iPhone 6s, how to make it work?
