Sierra: creating partition with Yosemite/El Cap...

Hi everyone!

I'm having trouble installing an older OS on a partition that I made on my Retina MBP 13" (early 2015).

Here are the basics: I am running Mac OS Sierra and some apps that I used in Yosemite or El Capitan are not supported anymore. They still work on Sierra but there are no updates anymore, so some features don't work.

That's why I decided to create a partition and install EC or Yosemite on it, while keeping Sierra on the main partition.

I downloaded Yosemite from the AppStore today and created a bootable USB drive, then restarted holding option key and booting from the installer and start installing from there. No Problems so far but it stays a long time at "1 second remaining" just to show an error message after, saying that this version of OS X Yosemite can't be verified and might have been damaged. I downloaded it a few times again, from the AppStore of course, but no luck.

I read many articles talking about changing the date. I tried that multiple times as well and it still won't work.

Can anyone help me? Is it even possible to install an older OS on a partition that you made in Sierra?

If you need more info about this, I am happy to share. And excuse any mistakes please, english isn't my mother tongue. Thanks in advance to everyone!
