Purchased music won't redownload
I just purchased an album on iTunes. I downloaded it and it distributed to all my other devices, as normal. (For the record, I'm also an Apple Music subscriber, but I definitely purchased this album). It worked great on my iPhone, but my Mac was another story. It did not play complete songs and acted all screwed up. I therefore delieted the album by going into the music folder and deleting all traces of it. Then I wanted to re-download. While the iTunes stores shows accurately that I had purchased the album, it won't let me download.
I've looked at related questions asked here in the past. I looked for traces of the album on other devices I own. Nope, it has been deleted everywhere. Still, Apple won't let me re-download. And, yes, I've looked at: Redownload music, movies, TV shows, apps, and books from the iTunes Store, iBooks Store, and App Store - Apple Support. Didn't make a damned bit of difference.
Help!
Hi,
Deleting the tracks from the music folder will not delete reference to the albumin your iTunes library. If the track is still shown in your library, you will not be able to redownload as iTunes still thinks that the music is still in your library.
If this is not the case, look at this support doc. Hide and unhide iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store purchases - Apple Support

This worked. Thanks!
So if i have the albums showing as purchased when i select all, as opposed to not being in my library, how do i redownload? iTunes still "thinks" they're on my machine, but the music files are apparently not, probably do to an improperly executed uninstall, then reinstall of itunes.
If the tracks show with an exclamation mark rather than a cloud then iTunes thinks you have local copies even if you don't. Right-click and use Remove download. The exclamation marks should go and cloud stream/download options should appear.
