Change username autofill for network drives
I have my users logging in to their Macs with AD credentials, however Apple also stores their full names and likes to use those as default usernames for various authentication windows. Since everything on the network is based on a user's AD credentials, the full name confuses people and I find myself spending a good deal of time reminding people of their actual username.
I'd like to be able to set a system wide default telling MacOS to use the user's actual username to autofill these authentication dialogs. I came across a 7 year old Stack Exchange article which referenced default domains that I couldn't find on my Sierra installation, so I think it's out of date. Couldn't find anything else helpful. I tried playing around with some of the settings the NSGlobalDomain, but to no effect.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
