itunes could not sync because 'idevice' is lock...

Hi,

I keep getting this error when trying to sync my iPad with iTunes. It pops up even when the iPad is unlocked.  I can sync my iPhone ok whether it is locked or not, but the iPad it always displays this message. Sometimes the message will keep coming up (even with the iPad unlocked) and won't sync at all.

I have checked my account and only have these 2 devices registered, all my old devices have been removed.

Never had this issue with previous iPads or iPhones.
