why can't I post a question?

I keep trying to post a question to the community. i am told I cannot post or update my question. Why? Will this go through?

A couple of nights ago I had an issue and I tried half a dozen times and the system said I was not allowed to post or update my responses. I figured the problem out eventually but it was quite frustrating not to be able to ask for help. Essentially I was testing the system today to see if the problem had resolved itself.

What did you figure out?
