iTunes voucher, different country

Creditcard is blocked & have to pay for subscriptions(Netflix, iCloud). Apple is no longer able to charge my creditcard so I bought extra credit in the country I am in right now (japan) - tried to redeem the voucher/card in iTunes - not working.

I've read the explanation on different countries, different store fronts. But question is how to pay apple? Creditcard is unlikely to get unblocked soon (waiting for a new one). Don't want to lose the apple services I have, because of non-payment.
