MacBook Pro Shuts Down After Having Lid Closed ...

I currently love my new 2017 MacBook Pro. However, for some reason, it seems to turn after having the lid closed for a long time. I have notice that once or twice the computer did crash and had to be restarted as it gave me the crash screen. I also noticed that when I start the computer after having it turn off, Google Chrome says it hasn’t been shut down correctly. So it seems to be an abrupt shut down. Does anyone else have this issue with there 2017 MacBook Pros in which the computer shuts down after having it sleep for a long time. Mine doesn’t have a touch bar.
