My Macbook Pro cannot connect to ipv6 incompati...

My mid-2012 Macbook Pro is unable to connect to ipv6-incompatible sites (random example: urbandictionary.com).

It reports: 'This site can't be reached' ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE.

I notice, however, that under 'network preferences', I have still been assigned an IP address.

I believe that renewing the DHCP lease sometimes resolves this problem. Is this an issue with my internet service provider, my laptop, or my modem? What should I do to prevent this problem from happening in the future?

Try changing your DNS servers

Non-responsive DNS server or invalid DNS configuration can cause long delay before webpages load - Apple Support

This seems to have worked for now but because the problem is intermittent I will report back if I experience further difficulty. Thanks for the help!
