after I downloaded the latest 11.03 update, my iBooks are very slow and go from out of focus to in focus. Also my touchscreen intermittently dosent respond.

Have you tried a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons?

I had the same problem.

Not only iBook is very slow like a snail but the software is not so good as in the previous version. If you use gesture to magnify text (increase font) then you cannot pass to the next page just by tipping on the right of the screen but you have to go back to no magnification, then go to the next page, and repeat magnification. So it is very stressful for my eyes.

In conclusion, my iPad air1 has been ruined by iOS 11.03.

Apple be you are not convincing me to buy a more powerful and larger iPad.

Does reset (to factory default) will erase all data?
