I have a new Apple Mac desktop and an Epson pri...

I have a brand new Apple Mac desktop computer, and an existing Epson printer. They won't talk to each other.  I have gone into System Preferences and 'Printers and Scanners', and checked the little plus sign at the bottom left of  the first screen.  I have also entered my router number and password onto the Epson screen. The printer just says it's seeking a connection, but won't latch on, and then eventually gives up.

Help, please!

Have you checked Epson for the latest print driver update and does it work when connected via USB?

No better when connected with USB lead.

I rang Epson for instructions (for entering router info., see above) and of course gave them the model number; they did not ask about print driver update.

How do I find out about 'the latest print driver update'?
