iMac Computer

I purchased a iMac  and ALL I am able to get is: MAC  OS  X  and LogIn Screen with 2 usernames and I can not get past that point. I am asking is there a way to completely wipe this system clean and re-start all over with a fresh brand new system. Please Advise, Thank You for Your Time and Advice.
