Logic Pro X ESX24

Why has my ESX24 deleted itself from the plugins? I searched within the finder and it came up with an empty file. If it has been deleted is there anyway of recovering it?

EXS24 is a Logic instrument and not a separate AU.

You will not find it using Finder in a conventional way.

You can access the EXS sampler by creating a new Software instrument track in Logic, and then inserting the EXS24 from the Instrument slot drop-down menu.
