Artwork not in iTunes but is embedded in Mp3

I have a problem with artwork.

I have had to import the whole of my library into a new .itl file. All the music has come across (just about), however not all the artwork has. Both the old and new library's have a smart playlist set to "Has Artwork" is False. The original is empty, the new one has many entries, with no artwork displayed.

I have checked a number of the underlying mp3 files and there is embedded artwork in them.

Is there a way of getting iTunes to refresh it's "Has Artwork" flag and display the artwork from the Mp3 file?
