macOS Acting Weird

Hey all,

So since the High Sierra supplemental update came out the other day, my computer hasn't been working at all really. I can't launch Finder, my internal drive doesn't show up in Disk Utility, and my TouchID doesn't work either. The weird thing is I can login just fine, launch apps, etc. Another weird thing is that if I boot into Safe Boot, Finder works normally as well, and Macintosh HD shows up.

I've tried doing a PRAM reset, I've tried logging into a new admin account, reinstalling High Sierra, and nothing is working. I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered a problem like this or if anyone has any suggestions. Help would be VERY much appreciated!

The fundamental difference between running Safe Mode and running "regular" is that in Safe mode, few Apple kernel extensions, and NO third-party kernel extensions are loaded. Safe Mode is a way to check for conflicts with added extensions.

Thanks you so much! EtreCheck fixed my laptop! Apparently the plist files from uninstalled apps were causing it to crash!
