Which Volumes are converted during a High Sierr...

Hello,

I'd like to install macOS High Sierra but ask beforehand about any conversions

the installer might perform on the hard disks of my computer.

I've a mac-mini (mid 2011) with two hard disks. Disk Utility on Lion Server

reports the following outline:

  1) Disk-1

1.1) Lion Server (pre-installed)

1.2) a Linux Installation (perhaps with extra boot-loaders somewhere)

1.3) more...

  2) Disk-2

2.1) mavericks

2.2) yosemite

2.3) sierra

2.4) empty

I want to install High Sierra at /Volumes/empty.

Will the other installations remain functional or perhaps the installer will alter

other partitions like EFI (disk0s1, disk1s1) or/and Apple_boot (disk0s3, disk1s3)?

Thanks,

Ev. Drikos

Hard disks and Fusion Drives will not be converted under

any circumstance.

Only an SSD, if equipped, will be converted if it is the drive

that High Sierra is installed on.

Any drive, internal or attached, will not be converted if it is

not the target of High Sierra installation, regardless of type.
