USB flash drive no longer appears in /Volumes
I have a 125MB USB flash drive. It appears in Finder. I can copy files to it.
I see it in Disk Utility. However, Disk Utility does not seem to be able to read the drive label (HP125MB).
My problems is that I starting a few weeks ago I can no longer see it in /Volumes (using Terminal). I used to do the following to expunge deleted files:
$ cd /Volumes
$ cd HP125MB/.Trashes/501
$ rm *.*
$ cd
and then I would unmount the drive by clicking the arrow to the right of the drive name in Finder.
I can still mount and unmount (mount upon insert into USB slot and unmount as stated above). But I can't expunge deleted files via Terminal. I don't know how to display "hidden" directories in Finder. So I don't know if that would work.
I've attached a screen grab of the "info" screen from Disk Utility.
Thanks in advance....
