Copying books to iCloud drive

I used to use iTunes to manage books, but that option has disappeared. Is there a way to copy books directly from my Windows 10 PC to the iCloud drive, so that they sync? I've set up syncing using iCloud in iBooks, but I can't SEE any iBooks folder in iCloud and can't see any way to add books to the folder other than from an Apple device.
