Does the MacBook Air come with a cleaning cloth...

I have just purchased one and there was not a leaning cloth in mine either.

Where did you purchase it from and is it an offical apple cloth?

How could it have been an official cloth if there wasn't one?

I purchased my 2012 MacBook Air 11.6 inch from an Official Apple store. In the directions they say to clean the screen with the cloth that came with the MacBook Air. However I didn't recieve one and was wondering if anyone else did.

Bean counters figured that Apple would make a zillion more by not including a wiping cloth.  AFAIK, they don't include one with any of their products.  At one time, the IP came with one.  I think that stopped with either the 3GS or the IP4.

Any soft cloth but especially a micro-fiber cloth work well. You can get the micro-fiber at drug stores, eye glass shops, with the screen protectors for iPhones.

They still include the cloth in the MacBook pro with Retina display. Do you know if I can purchase or get a complimentary cloth at the offical Apple store?

I see the Apple store sells Moshi TeraGlove Ultimate Cleaning Kit for $19.95. It is suppose to clean MacBooks and Iphone screens.

There's nothing unique about Apple's microfiber cloths.  I have several and they look like any other Microfiber cloth you get.

No just buy if you can find one

I have some cleaning solution called iKlear Apple Polish.  I use it on all of my electronics screens.  It came with a big microfiber cloth, and I just spray a bit of solution on the cloth, and wipe it down.  Is it ok to use the solution on the cloth when wiping down the screen?  Is the screen made of anything that could be damaged by the solution?  Also, how easy to scratch is the screen?  My MBA 2012 came with a little tiny scratch on the screen that is not visible when it is turned on.  I would hate to add any new scratches to it when cleaning it or whatever.

It has a apple on it and some people seem to just throw there money at anything with the apple logo on
