Appalled by service

OK, so I have some 850 movies in my iTunes collection and spend a small fortune each month on movies in the apple store. Imagine my surprise when I stupidly buy a movie this morning without checking whether it was in HD - when I politely explained my error to Apple Support, I get told "We have already refunded you for this reason in the past" - we cannot help you. I admit, a silly oversight on my part, but this has put a really bad taste in my mouth about Apple - who I've always found before to be great. To top things off, I escalate my complaint to a senior advisor by phone who again told me there was nothing iTunes would do, and (bless him) swore about me under his breath in French!
