Screen for Macbook pro (13

Hi All,

I'm based in London, UK, I need to have  the screen of my Macbook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), I have initially taken to an Apple Premium Service provider, they are say Apple consider this model to me a retro model now, and do not stock replacement screens for this model, therefore they would have to try and source one, however there initial quote for this is including installation is much more than expected (£500).

Would it be cheaper going to apple direct, does anyone know reputable place to resource a screen from and have it installed, you thoughts and advice in relation to the above would be appreciated

You will need to go to an independent shop to get repairs on your computer. That year/model computer is deemed obsolete or vintage by Apple Vintage and obsolete products - Apple Support. Apple will no longer provide parts nor will they repair your old computer.

You might try ifixit if you want to do the repair yourself.
