"show reader"

hello , I've owned this laptop since 2010 , it performs good .

recently I've experienced a pesky problem.

when I'm browsing a page and click on it, the "show reader" option kicks in and i have to go in the "view" drop down menu to disable it but it keeps turning itself back on when i change pages. some how it is defaulting to that setting . thanks for any help.
