Is there a way update an expired credit card in...

A couple of the credit cards in my wallet have expired and I would like to update the expiration date and CCV code. Is there a way to do that or do I have to enter the new card?

Remove the expired card and re-add it.

Check with your bank before removing the expired cards from Apple Pay. Your bank may already have associated your replacement cards with the Device Account Numbers in Apple Pay for those card accounts. If so, you can continue using those accounts via Apple Pay without needing to do anything yourself.

Only if this is not the case will you need to remove the original cards and add the new ones separately (as it is not possible to edit expiry dates or security codes yourself).

Your bank can advise which method applies in your case.

Thanks for the reply. I tried using that account on apple pay yesterday and the transaction was denied, the only reason I could see would be because of the new ccv code. I used the card since then, on its own, not with apple pay and the card worked fine. Looks like I'll need to delete and reenter. Thanks again, John
