why am i not getting any sound from my interfac...

hey everyone,

so I'm trying to have my guitar play through my m-track plus interface into logic pro, but I'm not getting any signal when i play the guitar. I've watched a few videos and read a few articles and followed the steps but im still stuck with the same problem. i have my audio track set to the same input that I have my guitar plugged into on my interface, i have my inputs and outputs in logic pro audio settings set to my interface but no signal is still coming through on the tracks and no sound through my speakers. I'm running OS X Yosemite version 10.10.5 on my macbook pro. can anyone give me some insight to what I'm doing wrong.
