Just purchased the 2017 iMac and when backing u...

Just upgraded my iMac to the 2017 model and am having a few issues,

1) when I connect my iPhone iTunes does not open automatically, then I press the manual backup, which it does but when I go it to preferences it is only showing my last backup, not the previous ones.

2) To get in to my iCloud means I have to go about it the long way round. I get "iCloud encountered an error while trying to connect to the server" so I then have to press support and try to do it that way.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you
