My MacBook Pro keyboard and cursor keeps freezing

Been struggling with this for about 6-9 months now with no solution.

About 10 times a day (give or take) my cursor and keyboards will freeze for 10-15 seconds before returning to normal. At first I thought it was my Mail app checking mail, or a system extension doing a maintenance check or backup or something. But I get these issues frequently even with all startup extensions turned off.

I have a 15" Retina MBP running the latest MacOS (currently High Sierra). I move back and forth between home and work so I have identical setups at both locations of a 27" Thunderbolt display, a Logitech keyboard, and a Logitech MX Master mouse.

I have tried different keyboards, different mice, and different bluetooth adapters. I have the problem with the built-in keyboard as well as with a hard-wired keyboard - so the problem is not a manufacture or Bluetooth issue.

Any suggestions? Is it my motherboard? (Ugh, I love my MBP and have no performance issues and not a fan of the latest models). Open to suggestions.
