I am the origional owner of the ipad, i changed my apple ID and my Ipad keeps on thnking its on the old apple ID and it asks for the password every 5 minutes, i dont remember it and the recovery email is my old work email which i have no access to anymore. so i want to sign out of my old apple ID and sign into my new Apple ID but I cant do that unless i put the password in that I have forgotton

Did you followed the links I've provided above in blue?

The old email is your Apple ID and that has nothing to do with the real e-mail.

Anyway, content bought using one Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.

You can change your Apple ID but do not create a new one otherwise you have the problem stated above:

The links just basically helps with resetting the password, i cant reset cause the password reset email i have no access to.

i did not create a new ID and changed the email address in my apple ID, but my Ipad keeps on wanting the password for the old one.

Did you just update your AppleID with new email address or did you create a new AppleID?

im not a 100% sure because i can log into apple with my new email address and on some places on my ipad it shows that new address. for example my alert email that you have replied to me come to my new email addres etc.
