how to add tones to itunes 12

itunes updated and so did adding tunes but i'm now having difficulty adding tone

It must be less than 30 Seconds and ONLY m4r.

I also have a similar question like this, except I was trying to load my custom ringtone to iTunes through garageband.

Only place I could see the ringtones I already had was when I select my iphone thats connected to the computer, and i go to tones, does this same list not exist on itunes 12, and im having trouble with putting the ringtones on my iphone, its like the new itunes isn't compatible with adding ringtones to your phone, is there an easy way to do this?
