General program

Sometimes when I open a program on my MBP13'(2017) (High Sierra) (12 Oct) the programs icon is not showed in the Dock. Instead i get the "general program"-icon. Like this:

It really slows the working process down when i have to hover over the identical program-icons to see which program is which. As you can see it's not just the apps that i download thats the problem, its also programs that's already pre-installed. And it's not always the same programs.
