I am specifically trying to setup squirrel mail...

I am trying to setup squirrel mail on my iPhone 7 as well as Entourage on my macbook pro using yosemite 10.10.5.  I have never had any issues with this setup in the past, but have been thoroughly frustrated with this particular web based platform.  Please provide step by step process.

Neither squirrel mail, nor Entourage are Apple products, and you should refer to their respective websites for iPhone, and/or Mac configuration details. In the case of Entourage, Microsoft discontinued it years ago — in favor of Outlook for Mac.

Thanks, one follow up question.  Do you think I would have the same issue if I switched to Outlook?  I really appreciate your input.

Next month (Oct. 2017), Microsoft will stop supporting Office 2011 for Mac. Thus, with OS X 10.10.5 you meet the minimum, present requirements for the installation of Office 2016 for Mac. The basic Office365 subscription plan at $100/yr includes Outlook, as does the $225 single-purchase, Office for Home & Business 2016 for Mac.

Personally, I find the default Mac Apple Mail sufficient for three different email accounts. I believe that the only way I would use Outlook again on a Mac is if it were for a mixed Windows and Mac environment where MS Office was the required Office Suite.

Here is an article from Sept 2017, on setting up Outlook on a Mac. You will need an existing Outlook account, and the incoming Outlook Mail server name.
