iWatch would not connect or disconnect

Hi,

 

My iWatch has a really strange behaviour. It turns on, charges, the touch works fine. But, it would not connect to the same iPhone it was connected to.

I tried to restart both devices - it did not help.

 

I tried to unpair them and now my iPhone says that it is not connected to iWatch, but iWatch stays the same as it was before when paired but no connection. Restart does not help, I cannot pair them again and there is nothing else I can do to make it work. It is really frustrating

 

Can somebody advise something?

Hi

 

As your Apple Watch is unpaired according to your iPhone, but still paired according to your Apple Watch, before being able to re-pair your Apple Watch, you will first need to erase it manually:

 

  • On your Apple Watch: when viewing the time, go to the Home screen (via a single press of the Digital Crown) > Settings (gear icon) > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings > confirm when prompted.
