Macbook Air keys stop working

Hello all,

So I got a Macbook Air back in 2013 though my college. Since I got it, the A, Q, 1 and delete keys have always periodically stopped working all at once. Even from the first few weeks I had it, it did this at least a few times a week, sometimes even multiple times a day. Usually it will take up to a few minutes for it to start working again. I have never dropped, spilled, or had any damage to it at all.

I had heard that this is an ongoing problem with this model of Air. I've dealt with it for years because, as a struggling college student, I couldn't afford for them to even send it out to get looked at. Oh yeah, the school provides all students with a new Mac but doesn't give us any type of warrentee -_-

Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you resolve it?
