Try uninstalling the above using the developer's uninstall instructions. One of them is the likely culprit.

I know Eric has replied to this Thread  but using this route OS X Yosemite (Filtered for items tagged for the Messages app) and using the more regular Yosemite Forum entrance and picking out the thread I cannot see his reply.

I am seeing this more and more including not being able to see my own replies as I make them on a few occasions.
