So I just updated my MacBook (10/7/2017)  and after restarting it, it won’t let me log in. I’ll put my password in, then a loading bar pops up. Once the bar is about half way, a bunch of black bars with error messages pop up on the screen. Then it will restart and a message will pop up saying it had to restart due to “a problem.” I’ve tried multiple things, but nothing seems to fix it. Any ideas?

Hey! Thanks for reaching out.

Maybe you should try to reinstall macOS. You would loose all your data but your problem would be gone. If you want to do so, follow the link below.

I really don’t want to lose everything I have on my computer. But besides that, I cannot even log in to my computer. So i’m unsure as to how I would reinstall macOS.

That is a Kernel Panic. This article will describe what has happened, and what you can start to do about it.
