Syncing my music between devices

Hi,

Hopefully someone can explain this to me in basic terms as Im not very good with this stuff.

I have a MAcbook Pro where I have uploaded all my old CDs to iTunes. (eg very little of my music was purchased from the iTunes store)

I use itunes to sync my music to my personal iPhone 5.

I now also have a corporate iPhone 7 which doesn't permit me to connect to my own MAC.

I have been told that to get my own music onto my corporate phone I should use iCloud.

Can someone tell me

• if there is a cost to iCloud to enable me to do this?
• how do I do it?

There is a cost, you can subscribe to iTunes Match on your Mac and upload your music to it from there so that it's available in the cloud : Subscribe to iTunes Match - Apple Support
