Home Folders Permissions are No Access for Ever...
Hi all,
So I think I had a corrupt file or something on my hard drive that I managed to get rid of, but it seems to have messed with the permissions of my home directory. While the permissions of the home directory itself seems fine, all the folders inside the home directory (such as Desktop, Downloads, Applications, etc) have the permissions listed as "Me: Read & Write" and "everyone: No Access" when I click Get Info. Those are the only two showing. When I try to change the privilege for everyone to something else, I get an error code -50 pop up message. I've tried repairing the disk from recovery, running diskutil resetUserPermissions, and using chmod but they don't seem to have any effect. Anyone have any suggestions or experience with this?
Thanks
