Old Contacts Mail Not Deleting

Trying to delete old contacts that keep showing up when making new emails or messages.

Tryed deleting them clicking the red icon next to the name in messages and when signed into icloud and mail

and still having the same issue. Can apple please just wipe out my recients for me ? or add a button we can at once

. its very frustrating trying to remember (who) all you (ever) emaied your whole life to delete them so they stop showing up
