how do i turn off amber alerts on my apple watch?

 I have one that keeps going off every couple of hours and has done since yesterday.

Thanks for the reply Jonathan. I have tried deactivating the alerts on my iPhone as shown in those instructions. I no longer get them on my iPhone but I am still getting the same one come through on my watch. Any idea why or how to stop it?

Try going to the Watch app>My Watch>Phone, and instead of Mirror my Phone, go to Custom>Show Alerts (slider off).
