MacBook Pro 2017 start up application

Hello,

I have three apps Mail, Messenger, and Activity Monitor that open when I start up my MacBook Pro. I have checked that settings in Login Items regarding which apps should open on start up, these apps are not listed. I don't want these apps to open on start up.
