How to Setting the order for search results in ...

Since upgrading to IOS 11 I'm seeing different results from searching my notes within the Notes App. Previously the order of the notes when displayed was the same are the order in the full list of notes.

So for example, if the 'Sort Notes By' setting is set to 'Date Edited'. The notes are listed in the order of latest edited first and the search results used to be displayed in the order latest edited first. Now the results returned when you put some text in the search box look essentially random; a notes two years old at the top of the list, last weeks notes several pages down.

Changing the 'Sort Notes By' setting work on the list of notes but does not affect on the order produced by using the search box.

This makes the notes app virtually useless to me.

Is there a setting somewhere else that affects this search order?

I don't know if it is important but I sync all my notes with my exchange account.
