This concerns the dull grey password page when ...

Before the last update, the page where you entered your passcode was crisp and easy to read. Now it’s a dull grey with little variation of color, and I have trouble seeing it clearly. is there a way to correct this? Thanks!

Unfortunately the way it is setup is the way you get.  There aren’t any options you can change that bring it back to the old way.
