Help Aliasing Logic Folders

Hello,

I recently aliased several Logic Folders to my SDXC card to make more room on the hard drive.  The problem is that it sort of worked and sort of didn't.  The folders were aliased correctly, however, only some of the sounds work while not others.  I don't understand why it's not an all or nothing thing.  Why would only some of the sounds work while not others.  The folders I aliased were the apple loops (works), Alchemy Samples (works), EXS Factory Samples (partly works), Garageband Sampler Files (partly works).  I don't understand why only some of the EXS sounds work.  In some cases only certain notes work but not others.  Is there a way to fix it?  Is the SDXC card too slow?
