My iPad Air

I have an iPad Air-2 which is infected with malware which disables the WiFi and prevents the iPad from being rest to factory default settings.  Device was take to Apple store where the hardware as tested and found to be in perfect working order.  If the device is set-up as new WiFi works as expected.  If I restore my back-up image to the iPad the WiFi will stop functioning before the back-up is complete.

 

Apple store employees have conduced this is a case of an iPad being infected with malware which "bricks" the iPad.



This is a user-to-user support community, and only fellow users, and the Apple hosting team participate here. Neither can resolve your iPad air issue. Simply do not restore your backup image to the iPad, or go back to the Apple store.



I sent an email to Apple Product Security Team and received an automated email.
