iPhone 5 won't reset.

I bought a used iPhone 5 and am having trouble restting it. The guy I bought it from didn't reset to factory settings before he gave it to me and now I'm trying to load all of my information and can't. When I go to reset the phone, it just gets stuck on the spinning white wheel. I let the wheel spin for over two hours the first time, and then did a hard power off. I tried a second and third time, but still just get the spinning wheel. What do I do?

You may need to try this More than Once...

Be sure to Follow ALL the Steps...

But... if the Device has been Modified... this will Not necessarily work.
