errors occurred during installation before itun...

After the recent update from iTunes, it would not respond when I was trying to change the music in my library before connecting my iPhone so I uninstalled it and re-downloaded it. However when installing, it gave me this error: Errors occurred during installation before iTunes could be configured. Your system has not been modified. To complete the installation, run the installer again.

I have tried several times and get the same error. I have also ran a check on my system to make sure it is running properly and tried downloading it using FireFox instead of Chrome and still get the same error. Please help!
