iOS 11 screen auto

Hello, I need help for this reason: I use an iPad with Apple Music as my main music player connected to my hi-fi dac/amplifier system and plugged into wall socket. In iOS 10 when Apple Music was playing, screen Auto-Lock was disabled while in iOS 11 it is not. I’d like to have this feature back, because having the screen auto-lock function off (so iPad screen always on) while playing Apple Music songs and having it on when music is stopped (so iPad screen off after 2 minutes of inactivity) is really useful. A must have feature If you use your device as a media player. What can I do?
