playlist problems

I am using Itunes 12.7.0.166, with windows 7, and today encountered a problem which has never appeared before.

I tired to burn a playlist onto a disc. The disc was burned, but with the incorrect playlist. I brought up the playlist and all the proper songs were listed, but when I tried to burn a disc again, the same incorrect playlist was burned.

On investigation, I found that all of my playlists appear fine when opened. As an experiment, I tried to simply print the songs from several playlists, only to find that all of the printed songs were not from the specified playlist but from some other playlist entirely. One list of songs were printed from an album which doesn't even appear as a playlist. I tired to delete the playlist and then re-create it, but this does not alleviate the problem.

Any have an idea whats going on here?
