OSX High Sierra

Hi,

I had started another discussion about the issues I am experiencing with my mid-2012 MBP after upgrading to HS. It was recommended that I reset NVRAM and doing that did solve the problem. But now I have to reset the NVRAM often as it somehow gets messed up every time I close the lid of the laptop for any more than say 5 minutes. When I open the lid, the computer seems to be on but the screen is black, none of the keys work and I wind up force it to shut down.

I have checked all the power settings and nothing is different from before upgrading.

Am I the only one that is experiencing these problems? I am not finding any discussions online about this.
